Beautiful place, really nicely restored. Car charging also available Would not bother ordering food from the food truck that comes round (Country Kitchen, Sheena Cartner) definitely below average food.

The Coo Palace is one of the most recent additions to the Holiday Property Bond. It is an incredible conversion of a very special cow byre designed and built between 1911 and 1914. It was abandoned later and fell to ruin but was purchased by HPB and converted into a collection of holiday properties of varying sizes, all of which have been re-built to a high standard including a "clubhouse" that includes a swimming pool, sauna, two games rooms and a plethora of information about the area. The countryside is wonderful and there is much to do and see. If you are an HPB owner, get along and go there if you haven't already.
The home of the HPB in Dumfries and Galloway has been restored and improved to the highest standards. Excellent location and the sympathetic restoration make this an impressive site. Staff provided a superb vacation. Thanks

Phenomenally decked out, as are all HPB's. Not much to do in walking distance though, apart from hikes. Good enough though to spent a short time away at.
Beautiful site and the area is simply gorgeous, even in winter, fog & rain. West Coast Fisheries provides the most delicious fish & seafood. You can order boxes or catch one of their van shops. The Viking hoard is beautiful. The air museum in Dumfries is a delight - anyone can climb in the spitfire. It & it's pilot has a significant & interesting history. The staff are wonderful, finding someone who came out to repair a flat tyre. He arrived in minutes, took it away, brought it back asap & refitted it at a too fair price. My partner doubled it & counted that as cheap. A must try holiday.
Hidden corner of Scotland, with much to commend it. Beautifully restored cow shed with apartments for Holiday Property Bond owners, a pool , playground, crazy golf, gym etc & views over the Irish Sea
Sometimes "miles from anywhere" is just what you want, but there are two lovely towns within a 15 minute drive. The usual HPB services are available and broadband is decent in the apartments.
Beautiful views across the Solway Firth. Saw the Isle of Man from our windows every day. Great place to relax or do activities, whichever you want. Last photo taken around 10pm. Photo of our afternoon tea!
